We are building a high-trust network where reputation matters.
In People App, the way people you invite act changes your reputation.
When you join the platform, you have a limited amount of invites, and you have to use them wisely by inviting people you trust and people who will add value to your networks. We track who you invited and always display your name in their profile.
Next, depending on their activity, we measure your reputation: if they make useful introductions, share thoughtful updates, and invite quality people, your reputation will grow.
The higher your reputation, the more invites you will be awarded. It is an exponential formula; growing your reputation will produce invites, but nobody will be able to invite everybody they might want. Every next invite will require a lot more reputation points than the one before.
We do not want to gamify this too much: we want you to engage thoughtfully, not play a game of chasing more reputation points. Our promise is that if you do the right thing: invite people of quality and substance and grow your communities, your reputation will grow and unlock more value over time in People App.
