Know Your People · A skill for OpenClaw

Know Your People.

Find the right person at the right time.

Your network is bigger than you think. Most of it is invisible when you actually need it.

terminal

# Ask your agent anything

$ Who do I know in fintech in Singapore?

→ Leo Lau — ex-DBS, now building in payments. Met at CogX.

$ Remind me what David does before my meeting tomorrow.

→ David Chen — hardware supply chain. Works with factories in Shenzhen. Intro'd by Shaurya.

The gap

Your network exists.
You just can’t reach it.

You’ve had hundreds of conversations. You know people who know people. But when you need a hardware supplier, a warm intro to a VC, or someone who’s been through a co-founder divorce — you’re searching through your memory.

Business cards. LinkedIn connections. Half-remembered coffees from two years ago.

It’s all there. None of it is findable.

Your private record

One file per person.
Everything you know,
right where you need it.

Know Your People is a simple skill for OpenClaw that turns the people you know into a private, searchable record — kept on your machine, owned by you.

  • Who they are, what they're good at, what they care about
  • How you met, when you last talked, what you discussed
  • Who'd be a good intro, and who to handle carefully

When you need someone, you just ask:

$ "Who do I know in fintech in Singapore?"

$ "Who's good at regulatory strategy and open to intros?"

$ "Remind me what David does before my meeting tomorrow."

Your agent answers from your own notes. No app. No feed. No algorithm.

The trusted circle

Some searches need more
than one person’s memory.

When your own network doesn’t have the answer, the enclave does. Invite the people you trust most. When someone searches, they query the whole group. The result comes back as a name, a context, a path in for a warm intro.

No central server Your data lives on your machine and your requests go only to people you trust.

Federated by design Each person runs their own node; no company holds the graph.

Mutual consent Connections require both sides to agree.

Your data stays yours. The enclave just increases the reach.

Once installed, just talk to your agent:

$ "Add a new contact — I just met someone called Leo at a design event."

$ "Who do I know at Goodnotes?"

$ "Draft an intro between Peter and Shaurya."

What people say

I searched for someone in hardware supply chain and found a contact I'd completely forgotten about. One message later, intro made.

Finally a way to keep notes on people that doesn't feel like a CRM. It's just... human.
-Ilya
The enclave is the part I didn't know I needed. My co-founder and I share a network now. It's like having shared soical brian.
